*This letter will be mailed out with most invoices dated 08/01 for July’s cleanings.
On this letter we will list your new rate for all upcoming cleanings.
Valued Customer,
I want to start by saying THANK YOU for the opportunity to serve you. You trust us with your home or business and we take that responsibility very seriously. That is why I often say we don’t pay minimum wage because we don’t want minimum wage work.
In the coming months West Virginia will be raising its minimum wage another $0.75 and Ohio currently has legislation proposing a state minimum wage of $10.10. If this law passes that will be a 20% increase on not only payroll but everything that’s based off of wages including payroll taxes, workers comp and insurance. With this in mind our staff will need a significant raise to stay proportionally above minimum wage.
Top-Notch Cleaning has been serving the tri-state area for almost three years and in that time we have never raised our rates. Due to the rising costs of everything from fuel, supplies and now payroll we have been forced to slightly increase our rates.
Below it lists your previous rate per cleaning and to the right it will show the new rate effective August 1, 2015. THANK YOU for your time and understanding to this matter. As always if you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact myself or either of our managers Annie and Lori.
Sincerely,
Austin A. Straub
